No. Thanks to a topical anesthetic and the very small size of the needle used, the microneedling procedure is not painful.

How many sessions will I need?

Some patients with minor concerns will find 1 treatment is enough. However, most patients require a series of 4 treatments spaced a month apart.

What is the recovery time?

Most people don’t require any downtime following a microneedling treatment.  Redness, minor swelling, and a “sunburnt” sensation are all the common reactions that will subside within 24 to 48 hours.
